Tip! Cash is more common in Turkey than in Denmark and we recommend that you bring some cash. Tourist areas often accept card payements too, but not always. Some places also accept American dollars. UPDATE: According to global analyses, it is feared that the Turkish lira will lose value in the near future. We therefore recommend TRY for the first few days, the rest of the travel fund should be in EUR or USD at the moment.
