Finland, our neighbours in the east, are known for their designer brands such as Alvar Aalto or Iittala, ans for Tove Janssons' Moomin. Finland became a member of the EU in 1995 and started using the Euro in the year 2002.

Tip! Just as in Denmark, the Finnish people use less and less cash, and prefer card payments or other digital solutions. Cash is still accepted in most places, and there are plenty of ATMs.
